Diocesan Prayer for the Fourth Sunday in Advent
As we celebrate the fourth and last Sunday in Advent in the Diocese of El Camino Real, we ask your prayers for St. Stephen’s, San Luis Obispo; St. Stephen’s, Gilroy; St. Stephen’s-in-the Field, San Jose; and St. John’s Morgan Hill.
St. Stephen, their patron saint, was one of the first ordained deacons of the Church. His feast day is December 26th because, as the first martyr, he is first in the procession of saints.
