The Investiture of Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe is this Saturday!

The Episcopal Church will officially welcome the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as its 28th presiding bishop tomorrow. The investiture service will be smaller and simpler, aimed at reducing the carbon footprint and encouraging participation from the church community through virtual channels. The Diocesan Staff, along with several parishes, including St. Thomas’ in Sunnyvale, St. Philip’s in Scotts Valley, and St. Stephen’s in San Luis Obispo, are hosting gatherings, both virtually and in-person, to watch the event together and celebrate.

When: Nov. 2, with a prelude featuring a “roll call” of dioceses starting at 6:30 a.m. PT. The service itself starts at 8 a.m. PT.

Where: The service will be livestreamed HERE and on The Episcopal Church’s Facebook page. A recording will be posted and distributed after the service.

If there is no watch party nearby, we encourage you to join the livestream from home in real time with Episcopalians worldwide while enjoying your favorite hot beverage!
