The Trailblazer role is designed to lead congregations into the community, exploring and discovering meaningful ways to engage and partner with local agencies, institutions, and other churches — helping our churches to again become vital, vibrant, and alive. We have two Trailblazers working in the diocese. The Rev. Joel Martinez is working with Saint Andrew’s, Saratoga, to create pathways to reach communities outside the walls of our church. Our first Trailblazer, The Rev. Jen Crompton, has completed their tenure and has accepted a call to serve as Priest in Charge at St. James’, Monterey.
