Join Bishop Mary Gray-Reeves and fellow pilgrims from throughout the diocese for a Spring Hiking Pilgrimage at Pinnacles National Park on Saturday, April 1. We will gather just before 10 am at Bear Gulch Day Use Parking. From there, we will take a 6.1-mile loop through the heart of the Pinnacles rock formation. The vistas should be glorious and wildflowers should provide a dazzling palate of color.
What to bring: plenty of water, your own lunch and maybe a small treat to share. Hiking boots and a hat are a must and, if you use them, hiking poles. Please note: We begin with a steep ascent; a good portion of our trail is listed as strenuous and we will go through a 1,300’ gain and loss of elevation. There is an entry fee of $10 per car.
To register, email Mary Beth Powell at email@example.com with your name, contact information. Please state “Pinnacles Hike” in the subject line. For questions, contact The Rev. Eliza Linley at firstname.lastname@example.org or Celeste Ventura at email@example.com.
