Creation Care Committee
As we are called by God to care for creation, we support policies that protect the natural resources that sustain all life on Earth. The Episcopal Church's Covenant for the Care of Creation is a commitment to practice loving formation, liberating advocacy and life-giving conversation as individuals, congregations, ministries and dioceses.
Truth Telling Task Force
As a result of the Truth-Telling work done at the General Convention in 2022, our Diocese created its own Truth-Telling Task Force to examine our church's history, especially with groups or peoples who may have been harmed by our Church. The vision of the Social Justice Committee is to foster and encourage ministry striving for justice and peace among all people. The Social Justice Committee connects to other organizations working in the same areas of interest. Within the Episcopal Church these include Sustain Island Home, the Episcopal Public Policy Network and the California Episcopal Public Policy Network. The committee supports organizations such as the Diocese of Navajoland and Cristosal.
